Raymie was born in West Covina, California. As a child she would sit on her Mom's floor and watch as she applied her makeup every morning. It took her until the age of about 8 to realize that becoming a makeup artist was her dream. Raymie is Currently a Freelance Makeup Artist in Knoxville, TN. She specializes in Beauty, Bridal, Print, Television & Special Effects Makeup. Raymie is from California, where she started her career as a Makeup Artist with MAC Cosmetics , there she learned, created, and perfected her craft for six years. She grew with the company and was managing her own store when she decided it was time to start working on her own and expand her creativity outside the retail world. She is well versed on technique, having taken classes & been trained by some of the Industries best, such as John Stapleton & Christopher Del Castillo. Raymie is very comfortable with various skin textures, colors & complexions. She uses products that deliver a beautiful photo finish, and help the skin to appear at its best. In 2011, Raymie created FACE. This Journey has led Raymie to meet some of the most wonderful people and given her opportunities she is thankful for. She recently worked on projects for Discovery ID Channel and DIY Network. She enjoys teaching classes for groups or private lessons and has done Makeup Tutorials for Broadcasted News Segments. Bridal Makeup is something that she enjoys because it's more than just making a bride look beautiful for her Big Day. For Raymie, it's being a part of such a special moment in someones life. She feels that the most important part of her job is making her cliental feel comfortable. She is continually experimenting with new trends and always looking forward to helping others see beauty in themselves.
